LAS VEGAS (KBOI) - A man suspected in numerous armed robberies in the Treasure Valley has been arrested in Las Vegas.

Boise Police said Camron Brown, 20, of Mountain Home, Idaho, is now in custody.

BPD says an officer spotted a vehicle and person who matched the description of the suspect and then forwarded the information to detectives. Through the investigation, police learned that Brown was now in Las Vegas.

He was taken into custody with the help of the U.S. Marshals Office and is currently being held in the Clark County Detention Center.

"This was a string of violent crimes where a weapon was displayed in each robbery,” said Sgt. Justin Kendall of the Boise Police Department. “We are grateful to our community and our team of law enforcement partners who helped us with this investigation and ultimately led us to taking this dangerous suspect off the street.”

Officers say Brown started his spree on Feb. 21 when he robbed two locations in the span of 10 minutes. One location was on the 800 block of South Cole Road. The other was at Elements Therapeutic Massage on Emerald Street.

The next day, Feb. 22, he allegedly robbed a business on the 2100 block of Broadway.

A few days after that, police say he robbed a GameStop on 12th Avenue in Nampa and on March 8 officials say he robbed a location on the 10000 block of Fairview Avenue near Five Mile Road.

With the recent Motel 6 robbery, Brown is now suspected of six robberies over the course of less than a month.

BPD says Brown has been charged with robbery and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a crime.
