Liv Tyler is almost unrecognizable from her Lord Of The Rings days

Liv Tyler stepped out for a massive shopping haul early Wednesday morning, but it doesn't appear she was shopping for herself.

The Harlots actress, 42, was spotted out hauling bags of toys to her car after making a stop at The Acorn Store in Santa Monica. She spent a couple hours searching through all the toys and left with two dollhouses, some bikes, and 10 bags of toys.

The siren was hardly recognizable as she wore heavy bangs and oversized black glasses. 

Meanwhile, her fiancé David Gardner just returned home from a trip with Kate Moss and Sadie Frost after a night on the Orient Express. The crew joined together for James Brown's birthday and booked a luxury suite for the evening that goes for £6,200 per person.

For her errand, she wore a black maxi dress with red polka dots. The dress had long sleeves and cropped just above her ankles.

Her long brunette hair was kept down as she donned straight blunt-cut bangs that went perfect with her laid-back style and black glasses.

She seemed happy with all of her new purchases and smiled as she headed back to her car with all of her purchases.

While she didn't reveal who all of the goodies for, she does have three children who may be in for a treat when their mom gets home.

She shares her son Milo, 14, with her ex husband Royston Langdon and her other two children Sailor Gene, aged five, and Lula Rose, aged three, with her fiancé, David.

Liv and David have been engaged for about five years, and she's made is clear she isn't in a rush to get married again.

'I love being engaged but I don't really have a desire to get married,' she said during an interview with Britain's Tatler magazine.

'I always felt like marriage should be more of a reward … for surviving your relationship. I feel everyone's got it backwards.' 

The Lord of the Rings alum got engaged to the sports agent back in 2015 and tend to keep their relationship underwraps.

She was also previously linked to Joaquin Phoenix when they filmed their movie Inventing the Abbotts together. The two split back in 1998 and still remain friends.
