The Steelers got the pick in a trade with the Oakland Raiders that transferred Antonio Brown to the Raiders. Diontae first showed in the NFL against the Patriots in 1st Week. Johnson had three catches for 25 yards in the game, which ended in a 33–3 loss. In the Steelers’ 24–20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3, Johnson caught three catches for 52 yards and his first career score. Johnson was sent to the medical tent in the game against the Baltimore Ravens after suffering a hamstring injury. He returned to the game after a frustrating injury, but the team has not stated whether he is entirely healthy.
